We will be holding our Annual General Meeting on Sunday, June 27 at 6:00pm.
This is the last Sunday when we can hold our meeting under charity rules, church by-laws and CRA deadlines.1
At our meeting, we will be approving our past year's financial statements, appointing our public auditor, electing new deacons and receiving ministry reports.
In accordance with provincial and City guidelines and in the interest of everyone's safety, we will be holding the meeting as a drive-in event in the church’s parking lot2.
Members who register online will be able to attend and participate in the meeting from their vehicles, parked in the church's parking lot.
Members who are unable to attend may watch online, however they will not be able to vote or count towards the minimum number of people required for us to hold the meeting.
In order to plan for the meeting, we are asking that anyone that would like to attend, either in person or online, register on our church's website.
On the church’s website, you’ll also find a guide on how the drive in AGM will work. If you have any questions, please contact any of the deacons, pastors, or at cecc@cecctoronto.com.
Throughout this week, we’ll be highlighting the nominees that will be voted on at the AGM. See you there!
We are required to reach a quorum of a minimum number of members attending the AGM in person in order for any and all approvals to be valid.
For those who have access to a phone or tablet, we will be broadcasting audio and visuals of the AGM over Zoom to view in your cars. Wifi will be provided if needed. For those who do not have access to a phone or tablet, we will be broadcasting the audio into the parking lot through speakers.
